Outpatients see on average 65,000 patients a month working with a large variety of specialities to provide the best possible patient experience.

We are looking for enthusiastic, vibrant Registered Nurses to join our Outpatient services based at Queen Mary's Hospital but may be expected to work across the 4 sites. You will need to be a dynamic and motivated NMC registered nurse and be able to show leadership in a clinical area.

Main duties of the job

  • The Outpatient Department provides a variety of speciality clinics providing diagnostic and therapeutic outpatient care to the local community.
  • The nursing service provides support for many clinics providing a large range of specialities including Surgical, medical, Paediatric, Dermatology, ENT, Ophthalmology, Retinal Screening, Minor Injuries, Rheumatology, One Stop Breast Clinic, Neurology, Gastroenterology, Cardiology, Vascular, Haematology, Elderly Care, Renal, Pain Control, Endocrine and Incorporating Action in Urology.
  • Many specialists nurse-led services provide the opportunity for all nurses to acquire new skills and knowledge.
  • Leading and managing the team in the absence of the departmental sisters.
