Sister's post/ charge nurse post on ward L7.

L7 is an acute medical ward, we are looking for a forward thinking dynamic nurse who has strong leadership skills to work within our team.

The successful applicant will need to have years post registration experience. They will need to be able to work calmly under pressure and lead a team and deputies' in the absence of the ward manager.

Main duties of the job

L7 is an acute general medical ward at SRFT. We are a 24 bedded ward, specialising in acute general medicine, diabetes and endocrine disorders. The ward has patients with a variety of clinical presentations and conditions, ranging from respiratory, gastrointestinal, and cardiology conditions, with patients usually being admitted directly from our Emergency Assessment Unit.

We are looking for a Band 6 Nurse Practitioner to join our multi-disciplinary team. We have excellent support links from the Integrated Care Division management team

You must be able to motivate staff to achieve high standards of care, and possess excellent communication skills to ensure that the aims of the Trust are achieved.

If successful we can offer you support in developing your leadership and management skills to enable you to support the Ward manager and staff to deliver high quality care in line with the Trusts philosophy of Safe, Clean and Personal Care.
