Job summary
We welcome applications from enthusiastic and committed GPs who
would be interested to join our well-organized and friendly practice.
The vacancy is for 4 sessions over 2 days (Wednesday and Thursday)
to complement the current team of clinicians.
We are looking for a GP who will integrate well, contribute to
Continuing Practice Development and actively participate as a
member of the wider practice team, whilst working within one of
Nottinghams more deprived communities.
The post is particularly suited to anyone who enjoys regular sessions in
the same practice, with all the benefits that brings in terms of
continuity of care and team working.
Main duties of the job
Undertake all the duties
associated with the role of a General Practitioner required by the GMS/PMS
contract
Comply with all the
objectives of the GMS/PMS Contract
Support and contribute to
the development of Practice clinical procedures and protocols
Accurate and timely input
of patient data onto the clinical system
Carrying out clinical audit
as appropriate
Completion of reports for
solicitors, insurance Practices and others
Liaise with other health
care professionals when required
Act in a way that protects
the confidentiality of patients and maintains the integrity of the patient /
Practice relationship
Take an active role and
contribute to Practice meetings.
Support the development and
compliance of the Practice Health and Safety policy
Take on Lead
responsibilities in any agreed area of clinical management
Participate in the GP
appraisal scheme
Attend Practice training
sessions whenever possible
Maintain medical currency
in line with your Personal Development Plan
Contribute to the
development and improvement of the Practice
Comply with the
requirements of Local and Enhanced services.
Work safely at all times in
accordance with Legislative requirements and Practice Policy and Procedures.

Training Practice with 4 GP Partners, 1 Salaried GP and up to 2 GP Registrars.
3 Practice nurses, Health Care Assistant and Phlebotomist.

We are approved to be a host practice for the 2024/25 Nottingham Trailblazer GP Fellowship
Scheme. This scheme, funded by NHS England, provides early and mid-career GPs with
an additional 2 sessions per week to be spent on supported study leave. See

more details. NB Education sessions will be held on Fridays.
