Job summary
Wolverhampton Talking Therapies offers intervention for Depression and all anxiety disorders. As a service we consistently excel with above average moving to recovery rates, positive client feedback and exceptionally high job satisfaction from our team.
Over the past few years, a number of positive improvements have been introduced including blended (office and remote) working opportunities, the championing of specialist areas and a strong emphasis on funded CPD.
We are looking for a qualified CBT Therapist with at least 1 year of experience providing CBT interventions, as well as the passion and drive to join our ever expanding clinical team of therapists, counsellors and PWPs.
Whilst accreditation is desirable, if you are not yet accredited we are able to support you in applying once successfully appointed.
Main duties of the job
The role of a CBT Therapist is very dynamic, and though at its core is the treatment of Depression and anxiety disorders, no 2 days are the same.
We are committed to providing high quality, evidence-based psychological interventions both at step 2 and step 3 as proposed by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) guidance.
In providing therapy you will offer face to face or remote intervention (via telephone or video), using a variety of CBT techniques.
As we increase our provision of CBT for Long Term Conditions, there will also be opportunity to undertake top-up training in this field
