Job summary
The Trust has a complement of 57 Consultant Radiologists including 2 externally contractedconsultants. 5 of the 57 radiologists specialise in breast radiology and are within the Surgical HealthGroup. General radiological services are provided to the population of Kingston upon Hull and alarge area of the East Riding of Yorkshire, and specialist radiological services to the whole of Hulland the East Riding of Yorkshire as well as parts of North Yorkshire and North and North EastLincolnshire. The majority of Consultant Radiologists work sessions on both major sites.
Main duties of the job
This is a post to meet the growing demand in Neuroradiology. The appointee will add to a team of 10 full time, 2 part time and 2 externally contracted neuroradiologists providing the full spectrum of diagnostic and interventional neuroradiology. The appointee will take part in a 1:10 on call for diagnostic neuroradiology.Part time applicants will be considered.
