We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and adaptable Registered Mental Health Nurses to join the Trust 'bank' working in our mental health units. This includes providing support to service users in Millbrook Mental Health Unit (NG17), Highbury Hospital (NG6), rehabilitation units (NG3 & NG18) Hopewood (NG5), and the brand new Sherwood Oaks hospital (NG18).

Bank is a flexible form of working in which you can book shifts as and when you want to work, at locations that best suit you. It also gives you the opportunity to work with a wide variety of teams in different sites and services.

Main duties of the job

We are currently looking for enthusiastic, reliable and adaptable Registered Mental Health Nurses & Learning Disability Nurses to join the Trust Bank providing support to wards and patients. This role requires a clinician with specialist skills to assess patient's needs and analyse and develop treatment plans within a multidisciplinary framework.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Professional Qualification (Mental Health/Learning Disabilities/General) to degree level or equivalent.
  • Maintains current registration with the NMC

Desirable

  • Demonstrate continued professional development to maintain professional registration

Experience

Essential

  • Demonstrates satisfactory clinical expertise for the banding.

Desirable

  • Specialist and area specific experience.

Training

Essential

  • Willingness to undertake new clinical practices, education and training that will enhance service delivery.

Knowledge

Essential

  • Knowledge and understanding of current legislation and understanding of clinical risk assessments
  • Knowledge of the nursing 6 c's
