Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity to recruit maternity cover for an experienced pharmacist as part of the Clinical Transformation Team. You will work as part of the ePrescribe project team, delivering Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration (EPMA) into NBT's Inpatient and Day-Case areas using CareFlow Medicines Management (CMM). The role focuses on designing and embedding workflows to improve care. This role requires a range of experience and expertise: we need exceptional people to help us make this a reality for our staff and patients.
Main duties of the job
The Clinical Transformation team are essential to the Digital Transformation programme, using their clinical knowledge to:
- Improve patient care and safety.
- Empower clinicians with the tools and information required to aid decision making and delivery of care.
- Empower patients in their own care - through access to information and online tools.
- Use digital technology to enable NBT's wider transformation agenda.
We are looking for a dynamic problem solver who is passionate about improving the services we offer our patients and is a confident communicator, able to build effective relationships with staff at all levels. The ideal candidate will be a leader who can work effectively as part of a team. Ideally with previous experience in the configuration and deployment of Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration(EPMA) across an acute trust, we are looking for someone with a passion for improving patient safety who can work on their own initiative, but also as part of project team and with senior clinical stakeholders.
