Job summary

This is a new post for a registered Nurse to train as a Midwife. We have secured places for the shortened midwifery course at Kingston University and will be offering full salary support whilst training for successful candidates. Following completion of the course , and registration as a midwife you will join our preceptorship midwifery program with the aim to achieve your Band 6 midwifery post within 1 year of qualification.

To support and assist in the delivery of professional midwifery care to clients ensuring the highest possible standards of care are received by clients and their families, practising autonomously within the parameters of guidelines/policies and sphere of professional practice This is a rotational post working in all areas of maternity both hospital and community settings as part of our Continuity of Carer teams. We offer a robust preceptorship program which is supported by our Maternity Improvement Team
