We are looking for someone to join our friendly and supportive team of clinical advisers on a fixed-term contract for12 months.
Main duties of the job
We are seeking to recruit a Clinical Adviser to join our team of Clinicians in our evolving and innovative Referral Service. Our Clinical Adviser role encourages you to utilise your clinical skills to support patients through the referral process and their journey across the health care system. You will clinically assess and interpret patient records and referral letters, to validate patient suitability for treatment, intervention, or further assessment.
The post holder will also be required to work with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including patients, Referral Service administrative staff, team managers, GP Practices and Providers.

- oEducated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent level of experience of working at a similar level in specialist area Significant Demonstrable post registration experience, with direct patient facing assessment and practice in a clinical setting. Able to demonstrate effective consolidation of clinical knowledge and practice after qualification and preceptorship. Current clinical registration as a Nurse or Allied Health Professional with equivalent comprehensive clinical training and experience. Experience in patient communications. Previous experience in audit and research. A good understanding of the health and social care environment and roles and responsibilities within it.
Desirable
- Clinical Triage experience across multiple clinical specialties.
