Administrator - Band 4

Wiltshire Patient Flow Hub - Chippenham

Part Time - 30 Hours per Week (9 month Secondment or until maternity leave finishes)

We are looking for an experienced administrator to work closely within our Wiltshire Patient Flow Team. You will have close links with Community wards, Community teams, Care homes (Nursing and Residential), Social Care and Primary Care to support the team.

Main duties of the job

Wiltshire Patient Flow Team has evolved significantly over the last 4 years since the team started. You will be part of this team and be able to welcome and adapt to a constantly changing environment. The demands on the team can be high and your support in ensuring the reports and feedback are addressed promptly will be essential.Experience of working in a healthcare setting with systmOne is essential.

You will be joining a friendly and welcoming team who are keen to support each other and you, as a new member of the team.

Experience

Essential

  • Evidence of administrative experience within a clinical customer focussed environment
  • Experience of working with minimal supervision
  • Experience of multi-tasking and prioritising work
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Ability to prioritise workload
  • Experience of delivering a customer focused service
  • Experience of working in health, medical or social care environment
  • Sound knowledge of data protection and confidentiality

Desirable

  • Previous NHS experience
  • Previous experience in a medical clinical setting

Qualifications

Essential

  • Educated to A level standard/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • Comprehensive knowledge of office procedures
  • Excellent all round knowledge and implementation of Microsoft Office Package

Desirable

  • ECDL or equivalent qualification
  • Basic knowledge of NHS practices, aims, goals etc
