Trust have an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist, to join
the friendly and supportive Occupational therapy team in the inpatient therapy
department at Watford General Hospital. This is a part-time post and would be
ideal if you are an existing Band 6 Occupational therapist who is looking to
specialise in Orthopaedics and surgical care.

You would have the unique opportunity to develop
your specialist OT skills with complex trauma, Orthopaedics, acute surgical and
amputee patients alongside a well-established multi-disciplinary team.
As part of the team, you will clinically manage
a caseload, completing detailed assessment & treatments in Orthopaedic and
Surgical specialities, with patients who have complex needs including trauma,
Orthopaedics, acute surgery & amputees.
Discharge planning skills are key to this post,
and you will need to be able to make timely decisions regarding transfer to
community services and managing referrals to specialist units.

- HCPC Registered.
- Degree in Occupational therapy or equivalent.
