Job summary
We are currently looking to employ a Switchboard Operator to work 24 hours per week within the busy switchboard based at Glangwili General and Prince Philip Hospitals.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will join the front line team operating a busy switchboard. You will therefore require excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A spoken knowledge of the Welsh Language is essential.
Shifts are 8 hours on a rostered basis, covering a 24/7 all year round service. Weekends and bank holidays are included for which additional payments will be made.
As a Telephonist there would be expectancy for the successful candidate to offer a large degree of flexibility to the hours worked to cover sickness and annual leave within the department.
