Are you an Occupational Therapist with experience working with neuro-diverse children, young people and adults?
We are looking for an OT to join our team conducting diagnostic assessments and providing post-diagnostic support to children, young people and their families. This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding multidisciplinary team, working in a CQC Outstanding rated Trust.
You will join our friendly multi-disciplinary team in the CYP Autism Service. The main aspects of the role include conducting specialist autism assessments, contributing to MDT diagnostic and formulation meetings and, planning and facilitating post-diagnosis support. We work closely with the Adult Autism team and are developing an ageless ASD service, providing the opportunity to work across the lifespan.
Main duties of the job
We offer excellent clinical supervision and support. The service is committed to ongoing development opportunities, promoting wellbeing and supporting development of strong links with Occupational Therapists and other allied health professionals across the directorate. The post will involve a combination of face to face and remote working. Flexible and part-time working will also be considered.

Job responsibilities
The post holder, with appropriate supervision, will be responsible for the assessment of needs and diagnostic outcomes for children and young people with suspected autism spectrum disorder. The post holder will provide evidence based specialist OT advice, support and interventions to children and young people with a diagnosis of autism, their parents and carers. As part of a newly developed ageless service, there will also be opportunity to conduct assessments and deliver post-diagnostic interventions to adults, particularly those up to the age of 25 who have an Education Health and Care Plan in place.
