Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust as they are recruiting for a Band 7 Occupational
Therapist to help deliver and plan the new Childrens and Young Peoples
Sensory Service. This is an in-person post with a hybrid working
model, virtual working will be considered on a case-by-case basis. You
will be part of a friendly and supportive integrated team delivering a locally
driven, needs led service; ensuring children and their families are at the
heart of service delivery.

Provide a highly specialist Occupational Therapy
assessment, intervention, and advice service for children & young people
whose sensory processing is impacting on their participation in activities of
everyday living and access the service via a 3-tiered offer (universal,
targeted and specialist).
This will include working with parents/carers,
educational settings, the voluntary sector, and other health professionals. You
may need to work within the childrens centres, educational settings, and
homes.
Supervise, train and performance manage junior,
and student occupational therapists as delegated by the Operational Manager and
Clinical Quality Leads.

Qualifications
Essential
- Prior experience within the NHS
- HCPC registered
- Car driver essential
- Occupational Therapy degree
- Experience and qualifications in sensory is required
