Job summary
A5 North is a 19 bedded unit that cares for spinal injured patients from across Wales. We are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic nurses to join our team.
We are a friendly team, open to change and new ideas. We offer a proactive learning environment, with the opportunity to study a variety of modules, along with in-service training opportunities. If Spinal Injuries is an area you are interested in and you are seeking new challenges we would like to hear from you. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, motivated, enthusiastic registered nurse to support the team. We welcome newly registered applicants.
Main duties of the job
A5 North specialises in spines and spinal surgery. What we can offer you:
Induction, Support , preceptorship and ongoing professional development
Appropriate training to care for spinal injury patients including brace and collar care, tracheostomy care and how to cater for spinal injured patients.
New starters will be given supernumerary time with a preceptor to support.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
