About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and
enthusiastic Trust Grade Registrar in General Medicine to join our dynamic team
in Yorkshire. This is a 12-month fixed-term position offering a unique
opportunity to gain comprehensive experience across various specialities within
general medicine.
The successful candidate will work
closely with specialty teams in acute care, cardiology, respiratory,
diabetes/endocrinology, gastroenterology, stroke, and elderly medicine.
The Successful Candidate will:
Provide high-quality care for both
inpatient and outpatient workloads.
Out of Hours Cover: Participate in the
out of hours rota across two hospital sites, ensuring continuous and excellent
patient care.
Engage in scheduled educational
opportunities within the trust and specialities, fostering personal and
professional growth.
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Provision of care with
responsibility for the management of patients with acute and chronic conditions
including complex cases
- Referral of patients to
other specialities as appropriate
- Out-patient
activities/clinics
- Involvement in specialty
and cross-specialty multi-disciplinary teams and meetings
- Involvement in relevant
administration duties
- Teaching and supervision
of junior medical staff and other clinicians as appropriate
- Active involvement in
audit and clinical governance including service improvement activities

Medical Qualification: A recognised
medical degree with full GMC registration.
Experience: Previous experience in
general medicine and its specialties is essential.
