Job summary
An opportunity for a Fellow in Endourology and Stone disease has arisen for a period of 12 months. The post is suitable for those who have completed at least 3 years as SpR in Urology or equivalent and are seeking to extend their experience in Endourology and Stone disease by working in a busy tertiary referral centre. Previous postholders have secured consultant posts Specialising in Stone disease in Southmead Hospital, Bristol, Athens, Nicosia and West Midlands. The post will also be suitable for experienced NCSGs (eligible for specialist Registration) wanting to gain further experience at a large teaching hospital.
Main duties of the job
The post will provide a great opportunity to receive specialist experience in General urology, Neuro-Urology and reconstructive and female urology.

Job description
Job responsibilities
This postholder will be working mainly with Mr. Subramonian and Mrs. Smith to cover the Endourology services and there may be additional sessions to cover other benign Urology services. The post holder will have 8 clinical sessions which will include, theatre, diagnosistics, Out Patients, MDTs and ward rounds. A flexible Job Plan will be drawn up 6 -8 weeks in advance to ensure all clinical needs are meet.
The post holder will be required to take part on the rota.
