Main duties of the job
Manage a varied caseload of patients including stroke, neurological conditions,
dementia and other acquired communication/swallowing disorders.
assess,
diagnose, plan and deliver treatment programmes to patients in their care,
using evidence-based treatments
will
promote independence, function and integration within the community using a
multi-disciplinary approach
be
responsible for own caseload in the clinical setting, including patients with
complex needs, working without direct supervision

Qualifications
Essential
- Degree or equivalent in Speech and Language Therapy
- HCPC Registration
Experience
Essential
- Post graduate dysphagia training
- Experience working in a community setting
- Previous experience within stroke and neurology assessment/rehabilitation
- Valid UK Drivers licence and access to a vehicle
