Job summary
The successful candidate will participate in all aspects of general surgery-related outpatient care at leading service, treatments will include carpal tunnel, trigger finger, Vasectomy, Cataract Surgery, Hysteroscopy, ganglion removals, body lesions, maxillofacial.
Main duties of the job
Applicants will be expected to have an excellent clinical quality record, and an ability to perform efficiently and independently in the clinic whilst providing exceptional care.
Applicants will need to demonstrate commitment to excellent teamwork with clinical colleagues and a willingness to utilise and develop clinical care pathways in the overall management of patients and assist in improving these pathways over time.
It is likely the post holder will provide responsibility for the clinical supervision directly or indirectly of non-medical staff and participate in the audit.

Communication
- Develop and maintain communication with people on complex
matters, issues and ideas and /or in complex situations.
- To develop and sustain partnership working with individuals,
groups, communities and agencies. To disseminate appropriate information to
others in the speciality and wider organisation.
- To maintain appropriate channels and styles of communication
to meet the needs of patients, relatives and carers, managers, peers and other

- Ensure after care advise is given to the patient following
surgery both verbally and written.

Scrub Nurse related to patient treatment, care pathways and health promotion.

healthcare-associated infections (HCAIs).
- They must attend mandatory training in Infection Control and
be compliant with all measures required by the company to reduce HCAIs.

screening and immunisation policies as well as be familiar with the Infection
Control Policies, including those that apply to their duties, such as Hand
Decontamination Policy, Personal Protective Equipment Policy, safe procedures
for using aseptic techniques and safe disposal of sharps.

Hours: 40 Hours Per Week Monday Sunday (working 5/7 days) - Day shifts - Full-time or Bank
Location: Across multiple Locations - Birmingham, Solihull, Stoke, Cannock, Worcestershire, Shrewsbury, Warwickshire
Sessional Rate / Salary: Competitive
Opportunities may arise for further clinical work in addition to the basic contract. This will be delivered on a flexible timetable to cover for holidays and sick leave.
