We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner (GP) to join our team as a Home Visiting GP. Main duties of the job

Conduct home visits to assess patients' medical needs, provide diagnoses, and develop tailored treatment plans.

Perform routine medical examinations, screenings, and diagnostic tests as necessary.

Prescribe medication, administer treatments, and provide ongoing management.

Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care measures.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, specialists, and therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in accordance with regulatory standards and best practices.

Demonstrate empathy, sensitivity, and professionalism in all interactions with patients and their families.

Person Specification

Experience

Essential

  • Previous experience in primary care, or home healthcare preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively explain medical concepts to patients and families.
  • Strong clinical judgment, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
  • Compassionate bedside manner and a commitment to patient-centred care.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Medical Degree
  • Full GMC Registration
  • Registered on Welsh Performers List
