The Clinical Teaching Fellow will join the wider group of teaching fellows within the Trust in supporting the assessment and examination of students at certain points in the year and will be expected to be available for these specified dates.

On average, there will be 5 teaching sessions and 5 clinical/professional development sessions per week. This post does not have an on-call commitment, but there would be opportunities for locum on call shifts, which would enhance the experience for the post holder within the specialty. The main clinical duties are to support a busy obstetric department (approximately 2000 deliveries per year) and to support in O&G surgical lists and outpatient clinics.
