Job summary
NHS SYICB Doncaster Place is looking for enthusiastic,
highly motivated individuals to join the Shared Services Team processing CHC
appeals and CHC PUPoC (Previously Unassessed Periods of Care)
cases.
The successful individuals
will need excellent communication skills and report writing skills to ensure
the correct outcomes for patients and their representatives. They will need to have
some knowledge of CHC and the National Framework.
This is a senior role within
the team therefore autonomy and experience are required to support other members
of the team.

Main duties of the job
Staff need to have the skills of excellent
report writing and attention to detail to be able to produce CHC documents that
are of very high quality.
Staff need to undertake complex and
detailed information analysis of specific records requiring high levels of concentration.
Knowledge of the National Framework
for Continuing Health Care and a good understanding of health and social care
roles are essential in this role.
Experience of working with multidisciplinary
teams and also with health and social care teams.
Communication in all forms is key in this
role.
Staff need to be able to communicate clearly
in all situations. In this role staff need to be able to present information clearly
to NHS England.
Autonomy to manage own case load and prioritise
work as appropriate is required.

- Registered Nurse
- Educated
to degree level in relevant subject or an equivalent level of experience
working at a similar level
