Job summary
We are seeking a successful candidate to manage our new Preparation for Adulthood and Adult Disabilities Team, working alongside our adult social work teams across Bradford and district with the primary aim to enable people in Bradford to live the life they want and to think creatively about how we can put people in control of their lives.
The successful candidate must possess the following skills:
- Have a professional qualification in Occupational Therapy and be HCPC registered
- Have significant experience in one or more of the areas we work in
- Have excellent people skills with a coaching approach to management
- Have a knowledge and practical understanding of relevant legislation including the Care Act and Housing legislation
- Be open to new ideas and be able to encourage others to adapt to and embrace change
