The Administrator will be responsible for all
general administrative duties within Alnwick Medical Group.
The Administration department has 6 sub departments, this role will focus on the scanning and coding sub department.
Carry out any other reasonable duties within the
overall function, commensurate with the grading and level of responsibility of
the post.
Expected to help cover in all 6 sub-departments
of the Admin
Deal with any messages and queries from the
Practitioners
Telephony system knowledge & skills
IT Skills
Liaise with Primary Care, Secondary Care, Community
Services and other outside agencies
Any other relevant administrative duties which may
be required

Job Summary
The Administrator will be responsible for all general administrative duties and reception duties within Alnwick Medical Group.
Key tasks and Responsibilities
- Carries out any other reasonable duties within the overall function, commensurate with the grading and level of responsibility of the post.
- Be prepared to help with cover in all departments of the Administration Team.

Person Specification
Qualifications
Essential
- - GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English
- - NVQ (or equivalent)
Desirable
- - NVQ in Customer Service, Health and Social Care or Business management Ability to type 40 words per minute.
- - Knowledgeable and skilled in the use of SystmOne or other clinical systems.
- - Basic IT
- - Proficient typing skills
- - Knowledge of GP schedules, training requirements and commitments
