Orthoptics Jobs
Orthoptists work independently or in multidisciplinary teams in a range of settings, including hospitals, private practices, and community health clinics. They work with both adults and children to examine, diagnose, and treat eye diseases and conditions. Orthoptists work collaboratively with Ophthalmologists to investigate and manage eye disorders and manage patient care, including pre and post operative care. Orthoptists have undertaken a Bachelor of Orthoptics, or Master of Orthoptics after a relevant health science degree, and are registered with the HCPC.
