Urogynaecology is a subspecialty of Obstetrics and Gynaecology which focuses on female pelvic medicine, including assessment, treatment, management and prevention of pelvic floor disorders – most commonly incontinence and prolapse of the vagina, bladder or uterus. It involves diagnostic techniques and surgical and non-surgical treatments and therapies.
